In a couple of weeks, I’ll be speaking at the UC Berkeley San Francisco campus to a group of beginning design students. I’ve been mulling over what to tell them – after all, this is the start of possibly many hopeful careers, so I should be on upbeat side. Me being me, I’ll probably interject at least one or two details to ponder as they move forward.
I thought it might be interesting to hear from you:
Okay, I haven’t seen where I’m guest-speaking yet but I’m practicing my opera voice now…wait. I don’t have an opera voice….
HOMEOWNERS, what do you think makes a good designer? If you could imagine the best designer for you, who would that be? Or, if your designer was beyond-awesome, what were the qualities that put them over others?
PROS, those in construction, architecture, and interior design – what do you think?
I have until beginning of March and I’ll be sharing the answers with the students. Fire away!
